The Colourful Catastrophe

THE COLOURFUL CATASTROPHE

Ingredients:

- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbs butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 4 tsp sprinkles
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 6 squares Cadbury Milk Chocolate melted
- 3 tbs Milo Malt
- 200ml pure cream
- 2 Kit Kat sticks

Method:

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius fan forced and line a 20cm x 10cm tray with baking paper. Put the plain flour, caster sugar and eggs in a medium size bowl and fold those ingredients together. Then add the milk, butter, vanilla essence, sprinkles and baking powder. Beat well. When mixed well pour into the lined tray. Pour all the melted chocolate in a line in the middle of the mixture. Get a skewer and make a swirl. Place in the oven and bake for 40-45 mins or until skewer comes out clean. Remove cake from the oven and cool on a cooling rack. Pour the pure cream into a bowl and whip until it forms peaks. To get the effect seen in the photo use an icing gun and slowly move up and down around the cake. Scatter sprinkles around the cake evenly. To finish it off place 2 Kit Kat sticks in the middle of the cake making a V shape. Enjoy!
